- edX Ever wanted to take a class with a Harvard professor, or something by Berkeley? Now you can–all from the comfort of your library (or your home). Many classes are free, but some require purchase.
- FutureLearn
- Udemy Most of these classes have a fee, but Udemy frequently runs sales/specials, and since most courses are self-paced (and you can start when it suits you) you can often find a deal on something you want to learn online.
- Coursera Stanford, Duke, and Johns Hopkins and many others offer convenient online classes here.
